JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: The Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering Advanced will be held on 26 May, i.e. two days from today. The admit cards have been released and the candidates’ preparations have also been completed. Before going for the exam, know about some rules so that there is no problem on that day. What to take with you, what not to take, what kind of clothes to wear, what kind of footwear to wear, all this information is important.

- First of all, check the details given on the admit card and pay special attention to the rules given, especially the reporting time etc.
- Reach the center on time and follow all the rules of social distancing.
- Admit card verification may take time, so be patient at this time. Do take your original valid photo ID with you.
- Any of PAN card, Passport, Driving License, College/School ID, Aadhaar Card etc. can be used as ID card.
- Also carry a ball point pen with you. It is important that it is black and transparent.
- You can also carry pencil and eraser with you.
- You can wear a simple watch to check the time. Do not wear a smart watch or a fashionable watch.
- Do not carry any kind of electronic gadget with you. Do not carry calculator, earphones, cellular device, health band etc. with you otherwise you will have to leave them outside.
- Don’t even carry the log table.
- Make sure to carry the self-declaration form along with the admit card.
- Do not carry any kind of handbag or wallet or any other such item with you.
- Don’t wear fancy clothes with full sleeves, which have very big buttons or many pockets or which have frills etc. as design, such tops, kurtas, blouses etc.
- Don’t wear clothes with lots of folds.
- Clothes should be simple, not too designer, and neither too tight nor too loose.
- Do not wear any kind of accessory, do not put any fashionable thing in your hair or wear big bands. Do not wear any kind of jewellery also.
